Overview
Crusoe is hiring a Senior Commissioning Manager to lead the design and development of automation solutions for data center systems. You'll work with Ignition and various protocols to enhance building management systems. This role requires expertise in automation and system integration.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in electrical engineering and commissioning management, with at least 5 years of experience in automation and building management systems. Your expertise in Ignition and various communication protocols like BACnet, Modbus, and MQTT allows you to design and implement effective solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
You possess excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all systems are integrated seamlessly and function optimally. Your ability to collaborate with engineers, contractors, and OEM partners is crucial in scoping and deploying projects that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the design and development of Ignition-based automation and visualization solutions for data center BMS/EPMS systems. You will ensure seamless integration with HVAC, electrical, and monitoring infrastructure, developing intuitive UI dashboards and operator workflows that simplify complex systems.
You will build and maintain automation scripts, tags, templates, and reporting modules in Ignition to streamline commissioning, testing, and operations. Conducting system testing and simulation will be part of your responsibilities to validate UI functionality, data accuracy, and operational performance prior to live deployment.
Your role will also involve leveraging Ignition to collect and visualize real-time and historical data, enabling performance insights, fault detection, and predictive maintenance. You will optimize existing BMS/EPMS user interfaces to improve operator experience and reduce alarm fatigue, ensuring that troubleshooting is accelerated and efficient.
