Crusoe is hiring a Data Centre Construction Safety Manager to lead health, safety, and environmental programs during critical construction phases. You'll ensure safety performance in large-scale projects in Abilene, Texas.
Job Description
Who you are
You have extensive experience in health, safety, and environmental management within the construction industry — you've successfully led safety programs during high-risk construction phases and understand the complexities of heavy industrial construction. Your background includes working closely with construction leadership and general contractors to ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices. You are proactive in identifying potential hazards and implementing effective safety measures to mitigate risks. Your strong communication skills enable you to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and ensure that safety protocols are understood and followed by all personnel on site.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the site-wide health, safety, and environmental programs for hyperscale data center construction projects. You will perform daily on-site safety walkthroughs, focusing on critical areas such as trenching, crane operations, scaffolding, and heavy equipment usage. Your leadership will be essential in overseeing safety performance during large-scale workforce ramp-ups and the transition from construction to live, energized environments. You will partner closely with construction leadership, general contractors, and commissioning teams to ensure that safety standards are met and maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Your contributions will play a vital role in delivering infrastructure safely and responsibly at a global scale.
