Who you are
You are a Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in building and enhancing user experiences — you understand the importance of customer satisfaction and retention in a fast-growing logistics platform. With your hands-on engineering skills, you are comfortable working on both front-end and back-end systems, ensuring a seamless booking experience for users.
You possess deep technical expertise in programming languages such as Java and JavaScript — your experience allows you to develop robust features that drive the success of high-visibility products. Excellent communication skills are essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams, as you will be working closely with product managers and designers to deliver impactful solutions.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be a key member of the Bookings Empowered Product Team, focusing on the Hot Shot Marketplace bookings funnel — your contributions will directly influence the customer booking experience, making it more efficient and user-friendly. You will be responsible for designing and implementing new features that enhance the overall functionality of the platform.
You will collaborate with other engineers to optimize back-end performance, ensuring that the system can handle high traffic and deliver results quickly. Your role will also involve troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that arise, maintaining the integrity and reliability of the booking system.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and best practices to foster a culture of learning and growth within the team. You will participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to help improve code quality and maintainability.
