Overview
Cyberhaven is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to drive and evolve their product. You'll work with technologies like Go, Kubernetes, and Docker to design scalable systems handling billions of events. This position requires a strong track record in building backends at scale.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong track record in building backends that are actively used at scale — you've contributed significantly to and extended their architecture, solving complex technical challenges along the way. You have experience developing large applications preferably in Go, or alternatively in Java, C#, Scala, Kotlin, or Rust, and you are comfortable working with databases at a very large scale.
Your expertise includes knowledge of GCP services, which is a plus, and you have experience with profiling and optimizing distributed code that handles large graph datasets. You are driven to help customers protect their most valuable information and are committed to writing secure-by-design software that withstands real-world attacks.
What you'll do
In this role, you'll design, extend, and optimize a large-scale, highly scalable, and fault-tolerant system that processes billions of events from hundreds of thousands of endpoints in real-time with sub-second latency requirements. You'll architect and implement security products to protect customer data, tackling real-world scaling problems that require thorough performance analysis and troubleshooting skills.
You will work with a modern and constantly evolving microservices-based software stack, which includes technologies like Go, Kubernetes, and Docker. Your contributions will have a substantial impact on the architecture of the product, and you'll be solving multiple exciting technical challenges as an early contributor.
What we offer
Cyberhaven is committed to creating a diverse environment and is an equal opportunity employer. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement. Join us in our mission to help customers protect their most valuable information while working in a supportive and innovative environment.
