You'll work with TypeScript and contribute to building productivity tools like Databricks Assistant. This position requires strong expertise in developing scalable solutions.
Job Description
Who you are
You are a highly productive Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in building impactful AI features. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable with ambiguity, rapid iteration, and delivering high-quality, scalable solutions. Your expertise in TypeScript allows you to design, test, and optimize large-scale applications effectively.
You are data-driven and understand the importance of measuring the impact of your features on users. You have a bias for action and pragmatic problem-solving skills, enabling you to make wise trade-offs and find practical paths to impact. You care deeply about developer and customer experience, building intuitive tools that simplify complex workflows.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the end-to-end execution of projects, from ideation to production. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, scalable solutions that empower customers to accomplish more with AI-driven features. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop AI-powered productivity tools, including Databricks Assistant, which provides seamless assistance throughout the platform.
You will design and implement features that enhance user experience and drive efficiency, such as smart code completion and automated error correction. Your work will involve running experiments to measure the impact of your features and iterating based on user feedback. You will also contribute to building AI-powered no/low-code experiences that enable users to interact with data without deep coding expertise.
What we offer
At Databricks, you will be part of a product-focused engineering team dedicated to evolving the Data Intelligence Platform. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI-driven features that make a significant difference in how customers interact with data. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
