Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally with a focus on data governance or related fields. You understand the complexities of managing data and are skilled at engaging with large enterprise customers to gather insights and requirements. Your background includes developing long-term product strategies and defining product roadmaps that align with customer needs and business goals.

You possess strong communication skills, allowing you to coordinate effectively with various internal stakeholders, including engineering teams, to ensure successful product launches. You are adept at balancing technical requirements with user needs, ensuring that the products you manage deliver real value to customers.

Your experience includes working with data and AI infrastructure platforms, giving you a solid understanding of the challenges and opportunities in this space. You are familiar with compliance and governance standards, which are crucial for the success of data products in enterprise environments.

Desirable

Experience with metadata management and governance frameworks is a plus. Familiarity with data security practices and compliance regulations will enhance your ability to contribute to the Unity Catalog's success. You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys tackling technical challenges and driving innovation in product development.

What you'll do

As a Senior Product Manager at Databricks, you will lead the product activities for Unity Catalog, from vision to implementation. You will design and launch new governance and security capabilities, ensuring they meet the needs of enterprise customers. Your role will involve engaging with customers to understand their requirements and translating those insights into actionable product features.

You will work closely with engineering teams to build and refine platform services that enhance the governance and security of data assets. Your responsibilities will include defining product roadmaps, prioritizing features, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
