What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Money team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire billing process, including usage ingestion, metering, pricing, credits, promotions, payments, and usage reporting. You will work closely with product managers and other engineers to design and implement features that improve the billing experience for customers across various pricing plans and cloud providers. Your role will involve optimizing existing systems and developing new tools for budgeting and cost optimization.

You will collaborate with your team to ensure timely and accurate billing, contributing to the overall mission of maximizing the value customers derive from their data projects. Your work will directly impact how Databricks products are brought to market, and you will play a crucial role in democratizing data access for users. You will also engage in code reviews and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.
