What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer and macOS Specialist at Datadog, you will be responsible for designing and building features that provide deep observability and performance insights for macOS users. You will work closely with the Windows and Mac Products team to extend Datadog's observability platform, ensuring that it meets the needs of IT Administrators and Enterprise Ops teams.

Your role will involve developing native, low-level telemetry tools that treat macOS as a first-class platform — you will ensure feature parity and operational excellence across every layer of the stack. You will collaborate with other engineers to deliver solutions that do not require the deployment of additional agents or libraries, thereby simplifying the user experience.

You will also participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall architecture of the system — your insights will help shape the future of observability across Apple endpoints, from individual devices to large-scale enterprise environments. Your contributions will directly impact the quality and reliability of the observability tools that Datadog provides.
