What you'll do

As the Lead Security Engineer at Dave, you will own the vision and execution of our digital forensics and incident response program — this includes establishing core workflows and maturing our security operations. You will lead the integration of security tools and processes across cloud, endpoint, and SaaS environments, ensuring that our detection capabilities are robust and scalable. Your role will involve tuning outputs from CrowdStrike and enhancing our SIEM to reduce false positives and improve incident response times.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build a security-first culture, providing guidance on best practices and security protocols. Your responsibilities will also include mentoring junior security engineers, sharing your expertise to help them grow in their careers. You will drive the transformation of our security posture, moving from vendor-reliant solutions to in-house capabilities that enhance our overall security maturity.
