You possess a solid understanding of API design and development, ensuring that the services you create are efficient and reliable. Your experience with load testing and performance optimization enables you to evaluate and implement alternative solutions, including database optimizations and proof of concepts.

You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with cross-functional teams, including vendors and internal stakeholders, to achieve common goals. Your problem-solving skills and analytical mindset help you navigate complex challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable

What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer at DAZN, you will be responsible for designing and developing cloud-based applications that support our streaming platform. You will work closely with the Technology Management & Performance Engineering team to ensure that our platform can scale effectively and perform optimally under various traffic patterns.

Your role will involve conducting load testing to measure performance and identify potential bottlenecks. You will collaborate with AWS and other vendors to implement solutions that enhance the platform's capabilities. Additionally, you will evaluate alternative technologies and run proof of concepts to ensure we are using the best tools for our needs.

You will also play a key role in optimizing costs associated with cloud computing, ensuring that we maintain efficiency while delivering high-quality services to our users. Your contributions will directly impact the user experience for millions of DAZN subscribers.
