DAZN is hiring an Android SDET to join their Product Engineering team in Hyderabad. You'll focus on testing mobile and TV platforms on Android applications, utilizing tools like Selenium and Appium. This role requires expertise in cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
Job Description
Who you are
You are an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with a strong background in testing mobile and TV platforms, particularly on Android-based applications and devices. You have a deep understanding of cross-browser and cross-platform testing methodologies, ensuring that applications perform seamlessly across various environments. Your expertise includes using testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cucumber Framework, JUnit, and Espresso, which you leverage to create robust test cases and automate testing processes.
You possess excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail, allowing you to identify issues early in the development cycle. Your experience in working closely with development teams enables you to provide valuable feedback and contribute to the overall quality of the product. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are committed to continuous learning and improvement in your testing practices.
What you'll do
As an Android SDET at DAZN, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated test strategies for mobile and TV applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand requirements and ensure that testing aligns with product goals. Your role will involve writing and maintaining automated test scripts, executing tests, and analyzing results to provide actionable insights.
You will also participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of testing frameworks that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process. Your expertise will help drive the adoption of best practices in testing and quality assurance across the team. Additionally, you will be involved in troubleshooting and debugging issues, ensuring that the final product meets the highest quality standards.
