Who you are

You have a proven track record in enterprise sales, with at least 5 years of experience leading complex sales cycles from discovery to close. Your ability to navigate multi-stakeholder environments, including procurement and legal processes, sets you apart. You excel in value-based selling and storytelling, crafting compelling business cases that resonate with C-suite executives. Your strategic mindset allows you to create urgency in sales environments that may initially seem like 'nice-to-have' opportunities. You thrive in fast-changing, mission-driven cultures and are passionate about shaping workforce transformation through innovative learning solutions.

Desirable

Experience in the upskilling or learning technology sector is a plus. Familiarity with AI-driven workforce solutions will enhance your ability to connect with potential clients. You are comfortable working remotely and can manage your time effectively to meet sales targets.

What you'll do

As a Sales Director at Degreed, you will lead net-new enterprise acquisition within a defined U.S. region. Your primary focus will be on hunting, influencing, and closing complex enterprise deals. You will engage with C-suite leaders, including CHROs, CLOs, and CIOs, to discuss how Degreed's platform can help close the gap between AI investment and employee readiness. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans that align with the company's mission to empower lifelong learning. Your role will involve building relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their unique challenges, and presenting tailored solutions that drive value for their organizations.

You will collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment on messaging and offerings. Your insights will help shape product development and marketing strategies, ensuring that Degreed remains at the forefront of the learning technology landscape. You will also mentor and support junior sales team members, sharing your expertise and best practices to foster a high-performing sales culture.
