What you'll do
As the Product Manager for Media Management at Descript, you will own the media processing pipelines that transform raw recordings into editable, searchable, AI-ready content. You will create search capabilities that unlock content reuse across projects, enabling both humans and AI agents to quickly find and repurpose content. Your role will involve owning the upload, transcription, and visual understanding pipelines, making strategic trade-offs to enhance user experience.
You will collaborate closely with AI research to ensure that Descript has the best models for media understanding. Additionally, you will work to make it seamless for large teams to ingest and export high volumes of media from their systems.
