DigiCert is hiring a Principal Software Engineer to design and maintain scalable backend services for their trust and identity platforms. You'll work with Java, C#, and Python to deliver high-quality software. This position requires significant experience in backend engineering.

You have extensive experience in backend engineering, with a strong focus on designing and developing scalable and secure services. Your expertise in programming languages such as Java, C#, and Python allows you to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that meets high-quality standards. You understand the importance of performance benchmarks and are committed to delivering software that delights customers.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product managers, UX designers, and architects to understand project requirements and technical specifications. Your ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams ensures that everyone is aligned and working towards common goals. You are also familiar with cloud technologies, particularly AWS, which enhances your capability to build robust applications.
What you'll do
In this role, you will play a key part in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications that power DigiCertβs next-generation trust and identity platforms. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that the software you develop meets enterprise-class performance, reliability, and security standards. Your responsibilities will include writing clean and maintainable code, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers to foster their growth.
You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise in production environments, ensuring that the services you build are reliable and efficient. As part of your role, you will stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, continuously seeking ways to improve the software development process and the quality of the products you deliver.
What we offer
DigiCert provides a competitive salary range of $170,000.00 - $200,000.00, depending on experience and qualifications. You will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment that values innovation and collaboration.
