What you'll do

In this role, you will take ownership of the end-to-end software development of new tools and scalable solutions that optimize the work of the Discord Privacy Program. You will build and operate systems that enable data rights for users, focusing on data collection, access, and deletion. Your responsibilities will include conducting risk assessments and code reviews, ensuring that all developments align with Discord’s Privacy Principles and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that user data is handled effectively and responsibly in a complex cloud environment. Your advocacy for privacy-preserving solutions will be crucial in maintaining user trust and compliance with privacy laws.
