dLocal is hiring a Regulatory Performance & Assurance Officer APAC to oversee compliance and regulatory matters across the region. Who you are
You have over 5 years of experience as a regulatory or compliance officer, ideally within the payments or financial sectors. Your background includes providing legal advice and expertise on financial regulations in APAC countries, ensuring that businesses can navigate complex compliance landscapes effectively. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, which allows you to communicate complex regulatory requirements clearly to internal teams. Your analytical skills are top-notch, enabling you to identify potential risks and provide effective solutions to regulatory challenges. You thrive in an international environment, having gained experience in a global company, financial institution, or law firm. You are professional, flexible, and hands-on, ready to tackle the challenges that come with regulatory compliance in a fast-paced industry.
What you'll do
In this role, you will support all compliance and regulatory matters related to dLocalβs business operations in the APAC region. You will provide effective advice to internal teams, helping them identify and implement regulatory requirements while enabling business growth. Your expertise will be crucial in advising on the regulatory impact from the initial stages of projects to their completion, ensuring that dLocal's legal entities operate within the law. You will maintain oversight of compliance processes and work closely with various teams to mitigate regulatory, legal, and reputational risks. Your role will be pivotal in fostering a culture of compliance within the organization, ensuring that all employees understand the importance of adhering to regulatory standards.
