Your expertise allows you to serve as a primary governance adviser to directors and senior stakeholders, ensuring that all statutory and regulatory requirements are met with precision. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with Legal, Compliance, Finance, Tax, and Operations teams to drive best-in-class governance practices. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively to non-legal stakeholders. You are detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple entities and deadlines without compromising quality. You understand the importance of timely and accurate records management and are committed to maintaining high standards in board administration.

Desirable

Experience in the payments or fintech industry would be a plus, as would familiarity with international corporate law. You are adaptable and open to learning, ready to tackle new challenges as they arise in a dynamic corporate landscape. A proactive mindset and the ability to anticipate governance needs will set you apart in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own and lead corporate governance for dLocal's Maltese companies, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations. You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining statutory records, managing board meetings, and ensuring that all governance practices align with best practices. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure that governance and corporate law requirements are met end-to-end, providing strategic guidance while executing precise legal tasks. You will also be involved in advising on corporate structure and entity management, helping to facilitate the company's growth in emerging markets. Your role will require you to stay updated on changes in legislation and best practices, ensuring that dLocal remains compliant and competitive in the market. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of compliance and governance within the organization, working closely with senior leadership to drive initiatives that enhance corporate governance.
