What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the internal control system for dLocal's Malta entity, ensuring it meets both local and EU regulatory expectations. You will work closely with various teams to provide specialist support for group control activities across different regions. Your role will involve continuous improvement of the controls program, anchoring it to internationally recognized frameworks. You will conduct risk assessments and audits, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes to enhance compliance and governance. Additionally, you will prepare reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
