Your expertise in Python allows you to build efficient data capture and ingestion systems, and you are familiar with tools like BigQuery and SQL to manage large datasets effectively.

You understand the importance of data privacy and have experience implementing anonymization and consent processes — your attention to detail ensures that data handling meets all necessary compliance standards. You are comfortable working in an agile environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and business stakeholders.

Your experience with monitoring solutions is extensive — you have developed custom metrics pipelines and dashboards using tools like Amplitude, Metabase, and Tableau to track the performance of AI systems. You are proactive in optimizing data infrastructure for scalability and cost management, ensuring that the systems you build can grow with the organization.

You are a strong communicator who can articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders — you enjoy mentoring junior engineers and sharing your knowledge with the team. You are passionate about using data to drive decision-making and improve healthcare delivery.

What you'll do

As a Senior Data Engineer AI at Doctolib, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data pipelines that support our AI initiatives — your work will directly impact the development of AI-powered features for healthcare professionals and patients. You will collaborate closely with the AI team to ensure that the data infrastructure meets the needs of model training, evaluation, and annotation workflows.

You will build, optimize, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines using Python, Dagster, and SQL — your expertise will ensure that data flows seamlessly from capture to monitoring. You will also be involved in enabling AI model development by providing high-quality datasets that are essential for training and evaluation.

In addition to building data pipelines, you will develop custom monitoring solutions to track AI system performance — using tools like Amplitude, Metabase, and Tableau, you will create dashboards that provide insights into system metrics and help identify areas for improvement.

Collaboration is key in this role — you will work closely with the Data Platform teams to optimize infrastructure and ensure that our data systems are scalable and cost-effective. Your contributions will help shape the future of healthcare delivery through innovative data solutions.
