What you'll do
As a DashMart Team Member, your primary responsibilities will include receiving and managing inventory, ensuring all products are accounted for and properly rotated. You will utilize technology similar to smartphone devices to scan packages, pick and stage orders, and conduct handoffs to Dashers. Your role will also involve monitoring product quality and freshness, following HACCP guidelines to prevent spoilage. You will communicate with customers through the app, especially when substitution approvals are needed, ensuring a delightful experience.
You will maintain a clean and organized warehouse, performing all duties in compliance with safety standards. Your contributions will help create a positive atmosphere within the team, as you work collaboratively to meet the demands of the DashMart operations. This role is essential in ensuring that customers receive their orders quickly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of DoorDash's local fulfillment efforts.
