You thrive in fast-paced, physical environments and are excited to roll up your sleeves to engage in day-to-day operations. You have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that inventory is accurately received and stocked while safeguarding products against loss or theft. You understand the importance of product quality and freshness, following all HACCP and food-handling processes diligently. You are a team player who contributes positively to the working environment, embodying the DoorDash value of 'one team, one fight' in all your actions.
What you'll do
As a DashMart Team Member, your primary responsibility will be to manage inventory receiving and ensure all products are accounted for. You will monitor product quality and freshness, ensuring proper product rotation to maintain high standards. You will utilize technology similar to smartphone devices to scan packages, pick and stage orders, and conduct handoffs to Dashers. Clear communication with customers through the app will be essential, especially when substitution approvals are needed. You will also maintain a safe working environment by adhering to DashMart safety and security standards, completing all cleaning and organization tasks as assigned by management.
