Who you are

You have 5+ years of backend engineering experience building scalable infrastructure — you've designed and implemented systems that can handle millions of alerts and associated metadata, ensuring high availability and performance. Your expertise includes working with technologies like Elasticsearch and Kubernetes, allowing you to create robust solutions for real-time data processing.

You are proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, particularly with Terraform — you understand how to define and manage infrastructure in a reproducible and version-controlled manner, which accelerates onboarding for new engineers and enhances team productivity. Your experience with cloud environments and container orchestration has equipped you to tackle complex deployment challenges.

You possess strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset — you thrive in environments where you can identify potential issues before they arise and implement effective solutions. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product and design, ensures that the infrastructure you build aligns with the overall goals of the organization.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that supports Doppel's AI-native social engineering defense platform. You will design scalable systems that monitor billions of domains and social media accounts, leveraging your expertise in Elasticsearch and Kubernetes to ensure real-time data processing capabilities.

You will define core infrastructure using Terraform, enabling reproducible environments that facilitate faster onboarding for new team members. Your work will include setting up dedicated staging environments to ensure safer releases and automated integration testing before production rollouts.

You will collaborate closely with other engineers to enhance the platform's capabilities, ensuring that the infrastructure can support rapid scaling as the company grows. Your contributions will directly impact the effectiveness of the systems in identifying and neutralizing digital threats.
