Who you are

You have a strong background in mobile engineering, particularly in iOS development, and are familiar with build systems like Bazel. Your experience includes optimizing CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that mobile applications are built and deployed efficiently. You understand the importance of maintaining high-quality standards in software development and are committed to promoting best practices across teams. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve bottlenecks and streamline workflows, enabling developers to work more effectively. Your technical skills are complemented by your ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.

Desirable

Experience with macOS or Linux system administration is a plus, as it will help you navigate the environments in which mobile applications are developed and deployed. Familiarity with additional tools and frameworks that enhance mobile development processes will also be beneficial.

What you'll do

In this role, you will take ownership of the Bazel build system, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the Mobile Infrastructure team. You will work closely with other engineers to identify and resolve foundational issues in mobile build scripts, rearchitecting them as necessary to improve performance and reliability. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and upgrading existing tooling to support developers and ensure a functional CI/CD system. You will also promote best practices within the team, helping to maintain a high quality bar for all mobile applications developed at Dropbox. Your contributions will directly influence the velocity and quality of how Dropbox delivers mobile experiences to millions of users worldwide.
