You have 6-9 years of experience in a combination of Development and Sustenance roles, showcasing your ability to handle complex software engineering challenges. Your extensive hands-on experience in Go, Python, C, and C++ on Unix/Linux or Windows platforms demonstrates your versatility and technical prowess. You possess excellent programming skills along with a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design concepts, which allows you to create efficient and scalable solutions. Strong problem-solving skills are your hallmark, and you can articulate and present technical solutions effectively to diverse audiences. Your interpersonal skills enable you to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, ensuring that communication flows well for product updates and known issues.

Desirable

Experience with cloud-based solutions and SaaS environments will be a plus, as you will be working on enhancing the reliability and stability of Druva's Data Security Cloud. Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience in working with scrum teams will help you thrive in this role. A background in data security solutions or incident response will also be beneficial as you contribute to the product's usability, supportability, and quality.

What you'll do

As a Senior Staff Software Engineer - Engineering Escalations, you will be responsible for fixing product bugs and delivering code changes that enhance the reliability, resiliency, and stability of Druva's SaaS offerings. You will act as a gatekeeper for product releases, ensuring that quality assurance processes are followed meticulously. Collaborating with Product Management, CloudOps, Development, and Customer-Facing Teams, you will refine requirements and propose architectural changes that improve product performance. Your role will involve partnering with respective scrum teams to design features and drive product improvements, ensuring that customer use cases are met effectively. You will also be responsible for monitoring the staging environment for future releases, ensuring that all updates are communicated clearly across teams. Your contributions will directly impact the quality of the product and the satisfaction of Druva's customers.
