You have experience designing and building data pipelines — you've worked within modern batch or streaming data ecosystems and understand the intricacies of data flow and management. Your expertise in SQL is complemented by your proficiency in either Java or Python, allowing you to tackle complex data challenges effectively.

You can apply data modeling techniques to ensure data integrity and usability — your attention to detail helps you identify and correct data gaps and inaccuracies, ensuring high-quality data products. You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside Traders, Quantitative Researchers, and Back-Office personnel to maximize the utility of the firm’s data and platform tools.

What you'll do

As a Data Engineer on the Data Experience team, you will play an integral role in bringing vendor datasets into our data platform — your work will involve governing our centralized data pipelines and supporting rapid data product development. You will own the delivery of data products, ensuring they meet the needs of various stakeholders across the firm.

You will be responsible for implementing data quality control processes, correcting data gaps and inaccuracies, and continuously improving the data infrastructure. Your role will require you to collaborate closely with team members to best utilize the firm’s data and platform tools, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
