What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the PR strategy for Elastic's security products, overseeing all communications related to product announcements and feature launches — you will collaborate with product teams to ensure that messaging is aligned with technical specifications and market needs. Your responsibilities will include developing press materials, coordinating media outreach, and managing relationships with journalists and influencers in the cybersecurity space.

You will work closely with threat intelligence researchers to package and promote insights that highlight the organization's expertise and thought leadership — your role will involve crafting compelling stories that resonate with both technical audiences and decision-makers. You will also be responsible for monitoring media coverage and analyzing the effectiveness of PR campaigns, using data to inform future strategies.

As the lead communications advisor to the CISO and security leadership team, you will provide guidance on messaging for sensitive topics and help navigate public perception during critical incidents — your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring that the organization maintains a strong reputation in the industry. You will also engage in proactive media outreach, seeking opportunities to position Elastic as a leader in the security domain.
