You have a passion for technology and a keen interest in AI and search technologies, which drives you to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
You are proficient in using Markdown and other documentation tools, enabling you to produce high-quality content efficiently. Your attention to detail ensures that all documentation is not only accurate but also user-friendly. You understand the importance of user feedback and are open to iterating on your work based on input from the community. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy sharing knowledge with your peers.
What you'll do
In this role, you will co-own the documentation for Elastic's latest features, including vector search, NLP tasks, and LLM integrations. You will work within a dedicated documentation team, contributing to the creation and maintenance of user guides, API documentation, and tutorials. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with core engine developers to understand new features and translating complex technical information into clear, engaging content.
You will also be responsible for reviewing and editing documentation created by other team members, ensuring consistency and adherence to style guidelines. Engaging with the global community of users, you will gather feedback to continuously improve the documentation and address any gaps in information. You will have the opportunity to showcase your writing skills by uploading samples or providing links to your portfolio or GitHub contributions.
