Overview
Enviva is hiring a Truck Loadout Operator to manage the loading of trucks and ensure safety and quality in the loadout area. This role requires mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow safety procedures.
Job Description
Who you are
You are a detail-oriented individual with a mechanical aptitude who can follow written and verbal instructions effectively. You thrive in a team environment and have a strong commitment to safety and quality standards. Your ability to work multiple shifts supports the 24x7 operations of the facility. You understand the importance of maintaining equipment in good condition and are proactive in performing inspections and coordinating maintenance as needed.
What you'll do
As a Truck Loadout Operator at Enviva, you will be responsible for loading all scheduled trucks while maintaining high standards of quality and safety in the loadout area. You will operate truck loadout equipment, including HMI touchscreens, and adjust settings according to product output. Your role will involve performing and documenting required inspections of equipment, ensuring that all reporting and inventory tasks are completed accurately. You will communicate operational information effectively and escalate issues promptly for resolution. Additionally, you will perform housekeeping duties to maintain the required standards and serve as a backup resource when necessary.
