Who you are

You are a board-certified MD or DO in Family Medicine or a dual board-certified MD/DO in Internal Medicine-Pediatrics (Med-Peds) with a passion for providing care to individuals with eating disorders. You have experience in direct patient care and are comfortable working in a virtual telehealth setting. Your commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging is evident in your approach to patient care and team collaboration.

You thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment, working alongside therapists, dietitians, and peer mentors to deliver comprehensive care. Your strong communication skills enable you to effectively collaborate with team members and engage with patients of all ages, from children to adults. You understand the importance of evidence-based treatment and are dedicated to empowering individuals on their journey to recovery.

What you'll do

As a Supervising Physician at Equip Health, you will play a crucial role in leading the clinical care team that supports patients with eating disorders. You will provide direct patient care, conducting assessments and developing treatment plans tailored to each individual's needs. Your leadership will guide the team in implementing evidence-based practices and ensuring high-quality care delivery.

You will collaborate closely with therapists, dietitians, and peer mentors to create a supportive and effective treatment environment. Your expertise will help shape the clinical approach and contribute to the ongoing development of Equip's virtual treatment program. You will also participate in training and mentoring team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
