What you'll do
As the Security Engineering Team Lead, you will oversee a team of security engineers dedicated to protecting ESO's applications — your leadership will guide the team in implementing security best practices and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle, ensuring that security considerations are prioritized in every phase of product development.
You will lead initiatives focused on threat modelling and vulnerability assessments, working to identify and mitigate risks before they become issues — your strategic approach will help shape the security posture of the organization. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining security policies and procedures, ensuring that they are up-to-date and effective in addressing current threats.
Your role will involve staying abreast of the latest security trends and technologies, allowing you to make informed decisions about security tools and practices — you will advocate for a security-first mindset across the organization, promoting awareness and understanding of security issues among all team members.
