Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in product management with a focus on developer technologies — your experience includes gathering feedback from the developer community to influence product direction and prioritize their needs. You are a self-motivated individual who thrives in cross-functional environments, collaborating with various teams and stakeholders to achieve common goals.

Your expertise in ArcGIS Developer technology is complemented by your ability to evangelize its capabilities and roadmap — you understand customer workflows and can effectively communicate the value of the product to developers. You are passionate about building relationships within the developer community and have a knack for understanding their challenges and needs.

You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate product vision and strategy clearly — your ability to influence product development priorities is a key strength. You are comfortable working with international distributors and a broad range of customers, ensuring that their feedback is integrated into the product lifecycle.

Desirable

Experience with agile methodologies and familiarity with software development processes would be beneficial — you understand the technical aspects of product management and can bridge the gap between technical teams and business objectives. A background in mapping applications or geospatial technologies is a plus, as it aligns with the core focus of Esri's products.

What you'll do

In this role, you will gather feedback from the developer community to influence the product direction and prioritize their needs — your insights will help shape the technical roadmap for ArcGIS Developer technology. You will evangelize the vision and capabilities of ArcGIS, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of the product strategy.

You will be responsible for creating and nurturing the developer community, driving engagement through various channels — your efforts will include organizing events, webinars, and workshops to educate developers on the latest features and best practices. You will also collaborate with marketing teams to promote the product and its benefits to a wider audience.

Your role will involve analyzing market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for innovation — you will work with product teams to define and track success metrics, ensuring that the product meets the evolving needs of developers. You will also participate in sprint planning and contribute to the overall product development process, ensuring timely delivery of features and enhancements.

What we offer

Esri provides a collaborative work environment where your contributions will directly impact the future of mapping technologies — you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team dedicated to delivering high-quality products. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
