You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in building and shipping user-facing applications within complex ecosystems. You thrive in environments that challenge you to think critically and creatively, especially when it comes to integrating various technologies to solve real-world problems. Your expertise in Java and familiarity with machine learning and AI will enable you to contribute effectively to our innovative projects. You are a self-driven engineer who values code quality and maintainability, and you enjoy collaborating with product leads and UX designers to create impactful features.
You have a strong understanding of data visualization techniques and real-time collaboration tools, which are essential for enhancing user experience in legal tech. You appreciate the importance of writing clean, efficient code and are always looking for the right tools to optimize your workflow. You are comfortable exploring the entire technology stack and are eager to tackle complex engineering challenges. You believe in the power of teamwork and are excited about the opportunity to work with a talented group of engineers who share your passion for building sophisticated technology.

What you'll do
As a Senior Software Engineer at Everlaw, you will take ownership of significant features and contribute to the development of our legal tech platform. You will collaborate closely with product leads and UX designers to ensure that the features you build not only meet technical requirements but also provide a delightful user experience. Your role will involve designing and implementing software solutions that leverage machine learning and AI to enhance our product offerings.
