What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will take ownership of the core algorithms that power Faire's Ads ML System. Your role will involve designing and implementing the infrastructure that connects products with buyers through intelligent ad delivery mechanisms. You will collaborate closely with data scientists to develop models that enhance the effectiveness of our advertising solutions.

You will be responsible for ensuring that our systems can handle large volumes of data and traffic, optimizing performance and reliability. Your work will directly impact how products are discovered and priced in the marketplace, making it essential to understand user behavior and market dynamics.

You will lead technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions, ensuring that our backend systems are robust and scalable. Mentoring junior engineers and sharing your knowledge will be a key part of your role, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
