You have a background in Mechanical Engineering and experience in manufacturing processes, particularly CNC machining. You understand the intricacies of fabrication and are skilled at analyzing manufacturability and costs associated with various manufacturing methods. Your analytical mindset allows you to identify areas for improvement and drive efficiency in manufacturing operations. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with both builders and manufacturing partners to ensure high-quality production. What you'll do

In your role as a Manufacturing Engineer, you will review and analyze the manufacturability of parts submitted by builders, ensuring that they meet quality standards and cost-effectiveness. You will collaborate with manufacturing partners to optimize production processes and mitigate supply chain risks. Your responsibilities will include evaluating fabrication methods such as CNC machining, injection molding, and urethane casting, and providing recommendations for improvements. You will also be involved in driving initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and support the overall mission of Fictiv to enable hardware innovators to build better products faster. You will play a critical role in bridging the gap between builders and manufacturers, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
