You have a strong background in international tax, with experience in U.S. tax planning and compliance. You understand the complexities of cross-border transactions and have a keen eye for detail when it comes to tax regulations. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Accounting and Legal, sets you apart. You are proactive in identifying tax planning opportunities and ensuring compliance with international tax laws. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are excited about the opportunity to influence Figma's global expansion strategy.
Desirable
Experience with M&A transactions and OECD Pillar Two readiness is a plus. Familiarity with tax compliance forms such as Forms 5471 and 8858 will enhance your candidacy. You are comfortable working with external advisors and have a track record of delivering accurate and timely tax reporting.
What you'll do
As the International Tax Manager at Figma, you will lead U.S. international tax planning and structuring initiatives, including M&A transactions and cross-border investments. You will own the U.S. international tax provision calculations under ASC 740, ensuring compliance with GILTI, Subpart F, and foreign tax credits. Your role will involve leading international tax compliance and information reporting, partnering closely with external advisors to ensure accuracy and timeliness. You will play a key role in shaping Figma's global tax strategy as the company continues to scale internationally, influencing cross-border structuring and financial reporting.
