Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a strong focus on backend development and building scalable systems. You thrive in complex environments and have a proven track record of designing and implementing high-impact products that deliver real value to users. Your expertise in AI and backend technologies allows you to create innovative solutions that meet the needs of private capital markets.
You possess a deep understanding of APIs and backend services, having built and maintained them in previous roles. Your experience with CI/CD practices ensures that you can deliver reliable and secure software. You are passionate about mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of technical excellence within your team.
What you'll do
As a Senior Software Engineer at Finalis, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs for our compliance, data, and payment products. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and compliance teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions. Taking ownership of end-to-end projects, you will oversee everything from technical design and implementation to deployment and monitoring.
You will ensure code quality and reliability through best practices in testing and monitoring, contributing to the overall success of our engineering efforts. Your role will also involve participating in architectural discussions, helping to shape the long-term technical roadmap of our ai-native platform. You will have the opportunity to influence architectural direction at scale, making a significant impact on the future of our products.
