What you'll do
As a Veterinary Technician at Fox Creek- Wildwood, you will support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery. Your role will involve safely handling and restraining animals with compassion, ensuring their comfort and safety during procedures. You will perform technical duties such as lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement, all while maintaining accurate medical records and assisting with medication dispensing.
You will help keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, stocked, and ready for use, following hospital, safety, and regulatory guidelines at all times. Your responsibilities will also include communicating clearly with clients, providing them with care instructions and updates on their pets' conditions. By fulfilling these duties, you will play a crucial role in the overall care and well-being of our patients, contributing to the mission of making a difference in the lives of animals every day.
