Who you are

You have 7+ years of experience building software, with a strong full-stack understanding of modern web technologies, particularly React and Node.js. You have spent 2-4 years in leadership roles, such as Engineering Manager or Technical Lead, where you have honed your skills in guiding teams and setting technical direction. Your expertise includes modern front-end patterns, server-side rendering, and API design, allowing you to contribute effectively to both front-end and back-end development.

You are passionate about building high-performing teams and have experience in hiring, coaching, and managing performance. You understand the importance of establishing engineering standards, including code quality, testing, documentation, and security practices. You thrive in environments that prioritize operational excellence and continuous improvement, and you are committed to fostering a culture of ownership and feedback.

What you'll do

As a Staff Engineer at G2i, you will lead and grow an engineering team, focusing on hiring, coaching, and performance management. You will set and evolve the technical strategy for developer platforms, dashboards, and internal tooling, ensuring that your team delivers high-quality outcomes with speed and craftsmanship. You will partner closely with Product and Design teams to align on roadmap outcomes and drive architecture decisions across front-end and back-end systems.

You will be responsible for establishing engineering standards that promote code quality, testing, documentation, and security. You will own the delivery health of your projects, ensuring predictable execution and strong incident management practices. Your role will also involve driving architecture decisions, particularly in areas such as deployment using Docker and implementing CI/CD pipelines. You will build a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging feedback and collaboration across teams.
