Who you are

You are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for technology and robotics. You thrive in hands-on environments and have a strong understanding of electromechanical systems. Your ability to communicate effectively ensures that customer needs are met during inspections. You are committed to safety and adhere to all safety policies while working in the field.

You have experience or a strong interest in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Magnetic Testing (MT), and Visual Testing (VT). You are eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes in the field of robotic inspections. Your proactive approach to problem-solving helps you maintain and repair robotic equipment efficiently.

What you'll do

As a Robot Field Operator, you will be responsible for performing in-field robotic inspections at various customer sites, including power plants and paper mills. You will operate robotic inspection equipment and ensure data integrity while following Gecko's safety policies. Your role will involve conducting Non-Destructive Testing inspections to assess the condition of critical infrastructure. When not in the field, you will maintain and repair electromechanical equipment, including gears, motors, cameras, and control boxes. Your effective communication skills will help you ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction through job execution and follow-up.
