GHJ is seeking a Controller to enhance financial and operational performance across multiple sites. You'll be responsible for producing accurate financial statements and leading budgeting efforts. This role requires strong experience in financial reporting and operational support.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or CMA designation is preferred, showcasing your commitment to professional excellence. You demonstrate expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, with a keen understanding of intercompany transactions. Your experience in multi-site operations equips you to support diverse teams effectively.
You possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to track key performance indicators and recommend improvements in margins and costs. Your ability to collaborate with field leadership ensures that financial and operational performance is enhanced across all locations. You are committed to sustainability and operational excellence, aligning with the organization's mission.
What you'll do
As the Controller, you will produce accurate and timely monthly financial statements for multiple sites, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will coordinate with external auditors on year-end requests and inquiries, maintaining transparency and accountability in financial reporting. Leading budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis efforts will be a key part of your role, allowing you to drive financial performance.
You will partner with general managers to enhance operational performance, providing financial insights that support decision-making. Your responsibilities will include overseeing management reporting and conducting ad hoc financial analysis to support various initiatives. You will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the organization.
