Who you are

You have previous experience as a Legal Secretary or in a legal administrative support role, which has equipped you with a strong understanding of legal terminology, court procedures, and filing deadlines. Your excellent organizational skills allow you to manage multiple priorities effectively in a deadline-driven environment. You are proficient in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems, ensuring that all documents are prepared, formatted, proofread, and filed accurately. Your strong attention to detail, professionalism, and communication skills make you a trusted partner to attorneys and legal teams.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage and maintain attorney calendars, scheduling meetings, hearings, depositions, and court appearances. You will coordinate deadlines and track important dates to ensure compliance with court rules and filing requirements. Your responsibilities will include preparing, formatting, proofreading, and filing legal documents, pleadings, correspondence, and reports. You will handle day-to-day administrative tasks such as phone coverage, email correspondence, scanning, filing, and document organization. Additionally, you will assist with trial preparation, case management, and electronic court filings, serving as a professional point of contact with clients, courts, vendors, and internal teams. Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion will be paramount in your role.
