You are an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in managing financial technology initiatives within a regulated banking environment. You have a deep understanding of the accounting lifecycle, particularly in fintech-related programs, and are committed to ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls. Your attention to detail and analytical abilities enable you to thrive in a collaborative setting, where you can effectively manage high-volume daily reconciliations and journal entries.

You possess advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including skills in PivotTables, lookup functions, and complex formulas. Your experience with bank reconciliations and prepaid program accounting is advantageous, and you are eager to leverage your skills to support fintech operations. You are detail-oriented and capable of analyzing transactional data to meet reporting requirements and internal control frameworks.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage the end-to-end accounting lifecycle for fintech initiatives, overseeing the onboarding of new programs and maintaining support for established partnerships. You will design and document accounting workflows, including funds flow mapping and reconciliation procedures, to ensure smooth operations. Your responsibilities will include preparing and recording daily and monthly journal entries, reviewing entries prepared by team members, and ensuring compliance with GAAP.

You will develop a thorough understanding of each program’s financial structure and operational processes, allowing you to analyze detailed transactional data effectively. Your role will also involve collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance internal controls and reporting processes, ensuring that all financial activities align with regulatory requirements. You will play a key role in driving the success of fintech initiatives through your expertise in accounting and financial technology.
