Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of experience in data analysis — you've identified trends, generated summary statistics, and drawn insights from both quantitative and qualitative data. Your project management skills are well-honed, allowing you to define project scope, goals, and deliverables effectively. You are proficient in SQL, R, Python, or other programming languages to manipulate datasets, and you have experience with machine learning systems. Your problem-solving and critical thinking skills shine in ever-changing environments, and you pay close attention to detail.

What you'll do

As an Engineering Analyst on the Trust and Safety team, you will analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that may indicate abuse or quality issues within Google Search. You will collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, Policy, and Legal, to develop and implement robust solutions that enhance search quality and user trust. Your role will involve generating actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that you communicate findings clearly and effectively. You will also be tasked with managing projects, ensuring that they align with the goals of promoting user safety and trust in Google products.
