You hold a Bachelor's degree or have equivalent practical experience, which has equipped you with a solid foundation in hardware and operating systems, particularly Linux. Your experience includes diagnosing and troubleshooting computer and server hardware, making you adept at resolving technical challenges. You thrive in collaborative environments, partnering with teams to tackle issues and improve operational efficiencies.

Your background includes maintenance and monitoring of server systems, showcasing your ability to ensure optimal performance and reliability. You are a visionary who seeks continuous improvement, understanding that even small changes can lead to significant impacts. Your communication skills enable you to articulate ideas and recommendations effectively to senior-level executives, driving implementation alongside facilities technicians.

What you'll do

As a Data Center Technician I, you will execute and complete operational tasks related to deploying and launching new data center infrastructure across various projects. You will apply standard tools, resources, and processes to solve defined problems, leveraging debugging tools to perform troubleshooting and teach others to do the same. Your role will involve installing and maintaining switches, routers, and other large-scale networking gear, ensuring that all equipment operates smoothly.

You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing broken equipment, including servers, networking, and storage devices. Your commitment to operational excellence will be crucial as you work in a team setting to meet or exceed the operational goals of the data center. Additionally, you will participate in primary/secondary on-call duties for the sites and may be required to work on 24/7 shifts as needed.
