Your background includes 7 years of leading technical project strategy, ML design, and optimizing industry-scale ML infrastructure, such as model deployment and evaluation. You have 5 years of experience in design and architecture, as well as testing and launching software products. With 2 years of experience in state-of-the-art GenAI techniques, including LLMs and computer vision, you are well-versed in the latest advancements in the field.

You possess a Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, and have 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms. Your experience in a technical leadership role spans at least 5 years, where you have successfully led project teams and set technical direction. You thrive in complex, matrixed organizations and have worked on cross-functional projects for at least 3 years.

What you'll do

As a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Google, you will drive technical leadership on high-impact projects, managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will facilitate alignment and clarity across teams on goals, outcomes, and timelines, influencing and coaching a distributed team of engineers. Your role will involve driving technical project strategy, leading large-scale ML infrastructure optimization, and overseeing the design and implementation of state-of-the-art GenAI solutions.
