Who you are

You are a qualified attorney with a JD, LL.B., or equivalent degree, and you have been admitted to the bar in the state where you will be working. With at least 3 years of attorney-level experience, you have a solid background in government, in-house, or at a law firm. Your experience includes discussing cloud services and technology agreements, making you well-prepared for the challenges of this role.

You possess knowledge of AI, data privacy, cybersecurity, intellectual property, and regulatory matters relevant to enterprise cloud transactional legal work. You understand the laws and regulations that apply to the use of cloud services, particularly in the financial services and healthcare industries. Your ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team is a key asset, as is your excellent problem-solving and communication skills, which enable you to explain complex legal issues clearly to non-legal stakeholders.

What you'll do

As an Associate Corporate Counsel at Google, you will tackle some of the most exciting legal issues arising from disruptive technological innovations. You will collaborate closely with stakeholder teams across Global Affairs and Cloud to drive growth and support responsible agreement-making. Your role will involve managing multiple agreements and projects simultaneously in a changing environment, ensuring that you promote continuous improvement in Cloud agreement-making through resource and fallback creation and programmatic enhancements.

You will be part of a dynamic team of in-house lawyers, working on projects that challenge you to think creatively and proactively. Your contributions will influence all aspects of the business, and you will partner with Googlers from various departments to ensure that legal considerations are integrated into business strategies. You will also be responsible for addressing regulatory issues and other transaction and customer relationship matters, ensuring compliance and risk management in all agreements.
