Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and at least 4 years of experience in public relations or media relations, either in-house or at an agency. You are fluent in both English and Indonesian, enabling you to effectively manage client relationships in the region. Your experience includes using AI tools to drive productivity, creativity, and innovation, and you are adept at navigating ambiguity in a fluid digital landscape.
You understand how to prompt and refine AI outputs to draft content frameworks, conduct landscape research, and summarize documents. You have a proven ability to build media relationships and shape stories that drive conversations, demonstrating a strong understanding of the regional media environment. Your collaborative nature allows you to build relationships with stakeholders across different departments while managing multiple priorities and budgets.
What you'll do
As a member of the Global Communications & Public Affairs team, you will work cross-functionally to communicate with journalists and thought leaders. You will devise specific communications materials and campaigns, engage in face-to-face meetings with commentators, and develop print and web-based materials supporting these campaigns. You will act as a daily product expert, helping teams communicate user benefits and respond to issues with speed and accuracy.
You will integrate generative tools into your daily workflow to enhance creativity and improve operational efficiency, such as drafting, translating, and formatting content. Your role will also involve driving data-backed storytelling while upholding Googleβs AI Principles. You will secure coverage for major initiatives and ensure that communications are clear and effective, helping to inform and educate users and advertisers.
