Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field, along with 3 years of experience in software development, which could include web, mobile, or back-end development. You are proficient in one or more programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Kotlin, Swift, or Python, and you have experience engaging with technical audiences through documentation, tutorials, presentations, or open-source contributions. Your background includes working with Google Maps Platform APIs or other geospatial/mapping technologies, and you have a passion for mobile application development, particularly on Android using Kotlin or iOS using Swift.

You have experience leading or contributing to a developer community or an open-source project, showcasing your ability to create technical content like videos and sample applications. You are comfortable delivering presentations at technical conferences and have the ability to synthesize developer feedback to advocate for product improvements with cross-functional teams. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy connecting with communities that share your enthusiasm for technology.

What you'll do

In this role, you will collaborate with developers at conferences and online, acting as a bridge between the developer community and Google. You will write sample code and client libraries, participate in developer forums, and support queues to troubleshoot and debug coding problems that developers encounter. Your responsibilities will include developing technical documentation, creating impactful code samples and tutorials, and working with customers, partners, and the open-source community to bring new AI-powered Android products to market. You will define, measure, and build an AI-native developer platform that leads the industry and drives business growth.
