Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 1 year of program management experience. Your background includes 1 year of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or international trade, which has equipped you with the skills necessary to navigate complex logistics challenges. You are adept at managing Importer of Record (IOR) details and ensuring the accuracy of monetary values and part numbers, demonstrating your attention to detail and commitment to compliance.

Your expertise in international shipping processes is evident, particularly in validating commercial invoices, packing lists, and item classification codes. You possess the ability to deliver program updates to stakeholders, providing clear visibility into shipping progress and potential risks. You thrive in collaborative environments, working with teammates to align on goals and resolve discrepancies with minimal oversight.

What you'll do

As a Logistics Coordinator for the Global Submarine Network team at Google, you will play a vital role in constructing the physical backbone of the internet. You will act as a liaison between Cable Technical Program Managers (TPMs) and vendors, ensuring that all logistics protocols are followed and that project plans are executed effectively. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the master list of part numbers, ensuring all items have correct Google Part Numbers (GPN), and creating new GPNs as necessary.

You will utilize existing logistics protocols and project plans to organize tasks effectively while collaborating with teammates to solve undefined issues. Your role will require you to manage standard tasks with executive support, ensuring that all stakeholders are kept informed of progress and any potential risks that may arise. You will be instrumental in ensuring that all logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the Global Submarine Network team.
