Job Description
Who you are
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field, and you have at least 3 years of experience managing construction projects in an international environment. Your background includes working with facility mechanical systems and data center equipment, such as switchgear, generators, and fire safety systems. You possess a strong understanding of startup and commissioning processes, and you are familiar with standard practices in the design and construction industry. Your ability to build excellent relationships and deliver on action-oriented tasks sets you apart, and you are willing to travel up to 25% of the time.
What you'll do
As a Data Center Mechanical Engineer, you will provide technical support for the localized design effort, from the Campus Plan through to Detailed Design. You will also offer field engineering support and develop cross-project, cross-functional, and cross-organizational procedures to ensure alignment of your work with multiple teams and projects. Your role will involve supporting interactions with authorities, addressing inspection deficiencies, and managing third-party inspection agreements. You will collaborate with facilities technicians to implement innovative solutions that enhance the efficiency and sustainability of our data centers.
